Scientific Coordination
Prof. Dr. Klaus Pantel, renowned expert in the field of oncology, is known for his significant contributions to cancer research, particularly in the area of liquid biopsy diagnostics. Prof. Pantel is the Director of the Institute of Tumor Biology and member of the Executive Board of the Comprehensive Cancer Center of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. He is the founder and chairman of the European Liquid Biopsy Society consortium and recipient of ERC Advanced Investigator grants.
Prof. Dr Matthias Löhr, is a distinguished expert in the field of gastroenterology and pancreatic diseases, known for his significant contributions to research, clinical practice, and education. Currently appointed as professor of gastroenterology & hepatology at Karolinska Institutet, he also serves as Vice-President of the United European Gastroenterology (UEG).

Project Management
The Project Management Office (PMO) consists of the scientific coordinator (Prof. Dr. Klaus Pantel), co-coordinator (Prof. Dr. Matthias Löhr) and concentris research management gmbh (concentris). Concentris is a modern German service company specialized in the organization, controlling, and dissemination of medium- and large-scale EU-funded projects within the FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe as well as IMI and IMI2 programmes. The team is well versed with EU regulations and is used to guiding consortia through challenges. From their longstanding, hands-on expertise in the management of EU projects, the project managers understand how to communicate effectively with all involved stakeholders.
