Pancreatic Cancer Europe (PCE) is a multi-stakeholder platform that aims to improve the survival and quality of life for people affected by pancreatic cancer across Europe. Our organisation brings together over 80 European experts composed of individuals, patient advocacy groups, healthcare professionals, and researchers to create a united voice and raise awareness about pancreatic cancer. We are committed to improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of pancreatic cancer and to advocate for the needs of patients and their families.
PCE carries out several activities to achieve its mission, including providing information and support to patients and their families, facilitating collaboration among healthcare professionals and researchers, and advocating for increased research funding and better access to treatment. Our organisation also works to raise public awareness about pancreatic cancer and the need for early detection and promote policies that support the rights and needs of pancreatic cancer patients. Through these efforts, PCE hopes to reduce the impact of pancreatic cancer on individuals, families, and communities across Europe.
PCE will contribute to implementing the WP 6: Dissemination, communication, training, exploitation and guideline development in the PANCAID project.
